Not all "shockwave therapy" is alike, don't get punked!

Updated: Mar 13, 2024

There are two types of shockwave therapy and various forms of each, don't be fooled into thinking that they are alike and offer equaled benefit.

They do not!

Radial shockwaves are not actually shockwaves but acoustic/sound waves and offer far less benefit. One would need much longer treatment sessions along with far more sessions in totality to get the same benefit as an Extracorporeal Shockwave (an actual shockwave) therapy session.

Now, once you get the right device (or find out your provider is using an ESWT device) your provider then has to ensure they are using a FOCUSED shockwave (FSW) as opposed to an UNFOCUSED device! I know, it gets tricky and even many providers fall for the scams

A FOCUSED device will allow for deeper penetration that will activate growth factors to come to the site of focus to repair any damage. The focused devices usually have 1-2 "depth cones" that can be placed on the wand depending on what area is being treated and how deep the penetration needs to be. Orthopedic and Sexual Function treatments may differ in depth requirements

The beauty of the FOCUSED device is that you can remove the "depth cones" and just use the wand itself, for a more "broad focused" treatment if you are working on musculoskeletal injuries and want more surface area covered than depth.

An UNFOCUSED device is usually just one that offers the broad treatment option only. Which is not optimal for deeper musculoskeletal work and/or sexual function treatments for ED and/or organ enhancement, for those wanting better blood flow for a fuller, thicker and harder erection!

With FSW therapy and the P-Shot/P-Shot 100 (a qualified candidate) it can produced amplified positive results, that are beyond AMAZING
